LCMN Petty Officer Leadership Academy 28JUL- 05AUG 2012

Petty Officer Leadership Academy POLA MN is a hands on training. Cadets will learn how to teach classes and call drill. There will be as much learning outside the classroom as in the class room. Cadets will learn how to prepare for inspections and prepare their people for inspections.

MSMN Marksmanship Training Minnesota 28JUL- 05AUG 2012

Marksmanship Training This training teaches basic marksmanship techniques geared to meet the needs of new and less experienced shooters as well as shooters who want to learn new ways to improve their marksmanship.The training will offer beginning shooters special hands-on instruction that starts from the beginning with safety, nomenclature, clearing, loading and unloading, shot technique and basic firing positions. The intermediate instruction focuses on teaching and practicing competitive shooting techniques.

 

Cadets who have graduated from the pevious year of Basic Marksmanship will be given additional continued training in advanced marksmanship skills. During the training, preparation for competitive Service Rifle competition will be the focus with completion of a CMP Service Rifle match at the end of training.

NTMN NLCC Orientation 28JUL- 05AUG 2012

League Cadet Orientation League Cadet Orentation teaches the basics of being a League Cadet. This includes Naval Customs and Courtesies, Basic Drill, wear and care of uniforms etc.. Swim Qualification and a field trip is usually scheduled. This is a challenging yet fun training for young cadets.

NDMN NLCC Advanced Orientation 28JUL- 05AUG 2012

NLCC Advanced Orientation League Cadet Advanced Orentation builds on what is learned in Orientation. Basic Seamanship Skills will be taught along with other challenging and fun activities.
